Teen Programs

Youth Strength Training
Teaches 12 and 13 year olds how to use fitness equipment safely.

Day: Monday
Time: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Day: Tuesday
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Day: Saturday
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Fee: $25 YMCA Member/$50 Non-member

Teen Strength Training
This is a fun and informative class that teaches teens how to use the exercise equipment effectively. This class is for any beginner, intermediate or advanced weight trainer who likes a fun atmosphere to learn the correct techniques and form for weight training, spotting techniques, strength machines and free weights. This class is designed for 14 to 18 year olds.

Times: Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Cost:     $25 YMCA Member
             $50 Non-member

Youth and Government
Youth and Government gives teens the opportunity to learn democratic values and skills through hands-on experiences. This program partners with local schools to provide assistance to students as they research current issues and events, draft bills and propose bills to a Mock Congress.
